| 22 June 2009 | The memorandum has been submitted for approval. |
| 5 June 2009 | The first meeting of administrative council was taken place in order to assign roles and responsibilities to the members of the council, and to clarify some details regarding the memorandum before it was submitted for approval. |
| 18 September 2009 | The first meeting for observation of the night sky was completed we great success. This meeting was taken place near the village of Akrotiri and eighteen members of the union were present. |
| 21 September 2009 | This year is celebrated as the International Year of Astronomy. The International Year of Astronomy 2009 is a global effort initiated by the "International Astronomical Union (IAU)" and UNESCO to help the citizens of the world rediscover their place in the Universe. |
